The benefits of working as a Multi Academy Trust

We recognise that the conversion process can be a distraction away from core purpose for school leaders. We have working experience of this process and will support and manage our partner academies through this where it is needed. We have access to legal expertise through our external partnerships which means partner academies can be assured of receiving sound advice at every stage.

Should you wish to approach us with a view of formally joining our trust please contact Amy Pearson APearson@centralengland.co.uk, PA to the Chief Executive Officer. Informal conversations are always welcome.

CEAT Models

CEAT Alliance

School to school support is at the heart of this CEAT Alliance improvement strategy. The Headteachers Partnership will draw on expertise across schools. This represents a unique opportunity for schools in the Trust as deemed as good/outstanding by Ofsted to work collaboratively for the benefits of all pupils.

Seven Pillars of School Improvement:

  • Vision (children’s outcomes)
  • Capacity (through shared and distributed leadership)
  • Commitment (collective efficacy)
  • Intelligence (real time and robust intelligence on all schools)
  • Processes (clear and universally understood)
  • Improvement Activity (evidence based and research informed)
  • Quality Assurance (without conflict)

CEAT Affiliation (Try before you buy)

This a formal agreement where a Trust works in collaboration with a school with a view of giving time for both school and Trust to gain understanding of each other and a flavour of what it is to reside in the Trust’s family of schools.

The offer is bespoke to the specific needs of the school and is costed accordingly. Three full days consultation is offered at no cost to the school. There will be opportunities for two-way shared support or to purchase specific business and school improvement packages at a reduced rate:

  • £400 full day support
  • £225 ½ day support
  • £80 one hour support
  • Price on application for support package (SLA)

This model is time limited and ultimately once that a good fit is established on both sides the expectation would be to formally join CEAT.

  • Service Level Agreement bespoke training packages
